About the project

Music first. Spectacle second.

Prismatic Arena explores what happens when a virtual venue follows the structure of a recording instead of decorating it with random effects.

Built as an instrument for listening

The project combines browser audio analysis, Three.js rendering and concert-production ideas in one accessible web experience. It is designed for listeners, DJs, streamers, producers and anyone curious about the relationship between musical arrangement and live visual direction.

The arena deliberately starts in work light, holds back in quiet passages and saves its full scale for moments the analysis identifies as important. It should feel like a show being conducted, not a video playing behind a particle effect.

Privacy by architecture

Local media is decoded in the browser. Microphone input is analysed locally and is not routed to the speakers. YouTube support uses a separately hosted bridge because browsers cannot directly decode cross-origin YouTube media. See the privacy notice for the full data outline.
